Welcome and Thanks for Stopping By!

If you enjoy Military Suspense, Southern Small-Town Fiction, or Historical Fiction, you’ve come to the right place!

Feel free to take a look around. I write books in which honor, courage, duty—and of course, love—are major themes. From the Revolutionary War to America’s current War on Terror, my’ heroes are everyday men and women who do extraordinary things.

Whether historical or contemporary, my novels are clean, old-fashioned stories that satisfy avid romance enthusiasts, while containing enough action, adventure, and suspense to appeal to male suspense and thriller readers as well.

So pull up a chair, pour yourself a cup of coffee, and take a look around. I’m glad you’re here!

Please go here to see some little known facts about me.

Visiting the heart of Civil War Virginia

I took a quick trip to Virginia today - the first in a long time thanks to high gas prices. When I was writing Shades of Gray, I used to go at least once at week (often more), but I have not touched the sacred soil there for months now.For anyone who has never visited...

Civil War warriors had soft hearts

In the midst of the chaos of today's society, it is sometimes hard to imagine the type of devotion that plays out in the novel Shades of Gray. One would not expect, after all, to hear sweet murmurings of love from those great soldiers we have come to know as hardened...

The book inside me after Shades of Gray

Many people ask me when my "next" book is coming out, and frankly, I don't have an answer. I know it is called "Above and Beyond" and that it is practically finished, but I've not really had the time to think about all the work involved in actually getting it out...
