Hello friends!

Jessica James award finalist

MEANT TO BE is a finalist in the Golden Leaf Awards contest in the romantic suspense category.

I’m very happy to announce that my romantic suspense novel MEANT TO BE has been named a finalist in the New Jersey Romance Writers’ Golden Leaf Awards contest, with winners to be announced in October at their annual conference.

I’m looking forward to attending the conference and signing books on Saturday, October 17.

MEANT TO BE was reviewed by Publishers Weekly who called it “sweetly sentimental and moving,” and “an enduring page turner.” The blurb for the book is:

A chance meeting on the beach leads to love and self-sacrifice half a world away when a special ops soldier leading a covert mission discovers the person he most wants to protect is the one risking everything to make sure he survives. A gripping tale of espionage & military suspense that’s been called “American Sniper laced with an epic, unforgettable love story.”

For those who live near Gettysburg, Pa., I will also be signing books on Saturday, November 28, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the historic Round Barn. This will be their last weekend open before closing for the winter, so there will be plenty of gift items available. I’ll be writing more on this closer to the date of the event.
