Historical fiction book signing at winery

I was so impressed with the spectacular view at the site of my last book signing, I had to write about it.

Bluemont Winery is located on a hill in beautiful Loudoun County, Virginia, at an elevation of 951 feet. You would not believe how far you can see! I forgot to take my camera (again), but here is a photo from the winery's website.

I am writing about the winery in more detail on my blog, but wanted to let everyone who is passing through Virginia to make sure they stop by this winery for a unique experience. There are a number of wineries in the area, many of which are located near significant Civil War sites.

Many thanks to all those who stopped by and bought copies of my Civil War novel, Shades of Gray. It was great to meet everyone!

Hi Jessica, I saw your comment at Maggie Reads (Southern Reading Challenge) and looked on amazon for your book. Found it and was happy to buy it for my Kindle (do you mind when people buy it that way?). I'm looking forward to reading it sometime over the course of the challenge (May 15 to Aug. 15, I think). Thanks for taking the time to mention it on that blog!

Thanks, Mary. Hope you enjoy it. And, no, I don't mind if people buy on Kindle. I'm not sure I could enjoy a book without holding it in my hands, but I think the Kindle is a great, economical way to read - and reading is the name of the game!
